PVC Pipe Extrusion Process
In Kailien’s PVC pipe production line, the entire manufacturing process can be divided into the following five steps:

1. Material Compounding & Preparation
PVC resin is mixed with stabilizers, lubricants, fillers, and other additives. After high-speed mixing, the compound is stored in hoppers for feeding into the extruder.

2. Plasticizing & Extrusion
The material enters the extruder, where it is gradually melted by rotating screws and heating zones, and then pushed through a die to form a continuous pipe shape.

3. Vacuum Forming & Cooling
The hot pipe passes through a vacuum forming tank to stabilize its diameter, followed by water cooling tanks to rapidly cool and solidify the pipe with precise dimensions and a smooth finish.

4. Haul-Off & Cutting
A haul-off unit pulls the pipe at a constant speed to ensure uniform wall thickness, and an automatic cutter then slices it into desired lengths.

5. Haul-Off & Cutting
If required, socketing is applied to one end of the pipe for easier on-site assembly. The finished pipes are then stacked and prepared for delivery.
